Armistice Day In Lostockhall

A few pictures taken today as we went out to view the Armistice Day ceremony here locally. It was such a lovely afternoon, clear blue skies. Was nice to stand and listen to all the words spoken to thank those that gave their all...

Pumkin Picking

This weekend we went and picked our pumpkins ready for the end of the month. We went early this year, as last year it got a little crazy busy as there isn't really anything else like this near us.

Happy 9th Birthday Ryan

A Nice Walk At Beacon Fell

At the weekend we took my youngest son and dog for a walk at Beacon Fell, lovely place for a walk and the weather was just right for a good walk…..

Lancashire School Games

The other week, Ryan and some of this school friends took part in the Lancashire School Games. He was part of the athletics team and had races in the 100m, 400m which he came 2nd in both and did really well in javelin and jump.

Great Game Last Night!

Sam and his rugby team played a game yesterday in the evening and it was a belter!!!  Not sure what changed for this game, but all the hard training and team work just came together and they were on fire. So great to see and fantastic to see the boys with smiles after a game. They haven't had a great score run so far this year, but I'm hoping they have turn a corner and keep this momentum going.  Final score Leyland Warriors 44 - Aston Bears 10 . One made by google

Great Rugby Game For Ryan

An away game for Ryan and his team this weekend against the Cardishead Rhinos. It was great game and a great win, with Ryan getting three tries and Opposition Man Of The Match. And a short slow mo video of one of Ryan's tries https://photos.app.goo.gl/UDSLmqs7e34dak3g1

Bank Holiday Weekend...

A Bank Holiday weekend and the weather was great shock!!  Yes lovely weather all weekend means we got to spend more time in the garden, but first I took the boys to see Avengers: Infinity War, no spoilers but great film and looking forward to the second part, even if we do have to wait a year.... Unfortunately I think we were expecting more than the Preston one we have been to for a few years, but it turns out that this is only the second year so it's still in its infancy. We got to see a few displays and play on the odd game, and of course Ryan added to his ever growing collections of Lego figures. After that we had a stroll on the beach and a quick go on the log flume ride. Once home it was time to break out the BBQ for the first time this year. On Monday we got the rugby balls out and went to our home rugby groun...
