Me and a camera May 2014

Another month and more images taken when out and about. I have now made this about not just my camera but also my phone images, because sometimes I do manage to catch a good shot with my phone as its not a bad lens and is 20mb in size. (sony z compact).  Any way this month (may) we have images from: Brockholes Reserve. National Trust Formby. Space Port Liverpool. South Lakes Animal Park.

Me and a camera April 2014

April was a very busy month, most of my pictures were taken while we were at DisneyLand Paris (well over 1700), but of course I won't show all here, when I have some time I will get around to posting our Disney trip with some details.  We also have here some pictures from Speke Hall

Rufford Old Hall

Another weekend another family trip out using our National Trust membership. This weekend we didn't travel too far ( only about 25mins from our home ) to  Rufford Old Hall . It was a great day out, the Victorian and Edwardian gardens are really nice to walk around, and looked great in the gorgeous weather we had. The Hall itself was smaller then I was expecting but really nice inside. The boy's liked walking around all the rooms because they were looking for an different animal in each one ( a paper they were given as we entered the Hall ).

Formby Point Visit

We finally got around to becoming members of the National Trust in the past few weeks, so after a few false starts due to bad weather we managed to get out to Formby Point , one of the many National Trust location very close to us.   I think we picked the best day, as the sun was out all day and lovely and warm, which is a big change from what we have had in the last few months.  The two main things at  Formby Point   are the beach and the woods which have red squirrels, but we never got to see any and it wasn't for the lack of looking, more to the point that they heard Sam and Ryan coming :)
