Learning Blender Week 001
Blender Week 001
My first week with Blender has been kinda slow, I have been gathering as much information/websites/books/videos as I can and trying to absorb them.
One name that keeps coming up is Andrew Price, he runs a website called Blender Guru and that’s one to check out, he also has a keyboard shortcut guide that is free to download, which is very handy, as Blender is a program that will need you to remember shortcuts to speed up work flow, very much like Photoshop. I also picked up his The Wow Factor book which is way ahead of anything I can do and is really for once you have created something, how to give it that extra little thing that makes it stand out and look more real. For a later read someway down the line I think ;)
Video wise have have hit YouTube and have created a blender playlist that you can have a look. I will be adding more to it over time when I find something that I believe will help me in my quest to make something. I do find that watching each one several times helps me, but not just what the final outcome is but how and what they have done to get there can help with other little things..
I have also add two keyboard layouts that I found on the web, which might help.
Until next week, were I might have something on screen :)

It was a cold Sunday morning in Blackpool for the run, but with a great turnout and friendly lot we had a warmup and before we knew it we were off. Was a little hard going for me as I haven't done much running in the last few year, but with my eldest son on my shoulder all the way talking about the latest game he is playing it wasn't long before we were on the way to the finish line. :) Ryan, mum and dog came in not long after at very reasonable times and I am proud of them all for doing it. Eldest Son: 30mins. Me: 34mins. Ryan: 47mins. Mum and Kylo: 50mins. So far we have raised almost £400 with still a few cash donations still to come in. The link is st...
Bit of a mixed bag this cosplay post. When I find images I drop them into categories, this folder is called mix/don't know...... So here's 30 great cosplayers that I'm not sure where to put them ;)
I know I've not been posting much lately on my blog, life problems always find a way of stopping me doing anything..... Any way, here's 30 gaming cosplayers doing some amazing characters.
