Yep, their back.... I think all my posts are coming back to just one blog.

I always love Bad Lip Reading videos, but this one really made me laugh. From someone who did watch some of the Zuckerberg congressional hearing, this isn't that far off! :)

So I booked a week off work over the Easter Holidays. Got two days out, and 5 days decorating.....  The first day out was to Blackpool Tower. Not been there in years. It's such a nice building, and the ballroom is lovely, wish we could have spent all day just in that room. Takes me back to when I was a kid and me and my older brother would go with our aunty and uncle who would dance while we just walked around the place..

At the weekend we as a family ran 5k for the Stroke Association. As most of you who have visited my blog before will know my youngest had a stroke over a year ago. He wanted to do something to raise money for the charity that has help him and us with his recovery and understanding what has happened to him.  It was a cold Sunday morning in Blackpool for the run, but with a great turnout and friendly lot we had a warmup and before we knew it we were off. Was a little hard going for me as I haven't done much running in the last few year, but with my eldest son on my shoulder all the way talking about the latest game he is playing it wasn't long before we were on the way to the finish line. :)  Ryan, mum and dog came in not long after at very reasonable times and I am proud of them all for doing it. This weekend we had a double adventure....  First stop was Legoland Discovery in Manchester, which is always ok for an hour or two as we are lego made in our house, plus Ryan has now become obsessed with collecting the pop badges and swapping them with the staff..

The other weekend we went to the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. Great place for a few hours. We went to find somethings about the Romans, as our youngest is doing work at school about them, unfortunately that part has now been closed, damn........ still had a good time though.  On the way there we did find an old Roman Settlement which was nice.

I picked up Planetoid Pioneers the "Contributor Edition" the other day. I had been watching this game for sometime in early access, and thought it was a very interesting idea and could be really fun if the community get behind it. They had a special offer around the lunch day which made it half price for the Contributor Edition, so I went for that.  So far I like it, not had time to make anything or even leave the first planetoid, but I don't mind which I guess that's a good sign.
