Me and a camera March 2014

And now we quickly move on to March's camera and me album.    There are images from things I have found around work, a trip to Dunham Massey Hall, a concert we went to see Michael Bublé at, and my bike track ride to work.

Me and a camera February 2014

For 2014 February Camera album we managed to get out to our local zoo and a couple of parks.

Me and a camera

I am way, way behind on posting to this blog. I know I said I would update it often, but as alway best plans and all that!!  Anyway I thought I would start by catching up on my monthly camera pictures, so here's my favourites from January.

SuperHero PJ's

Got some Superhero Pj's from my boy's for Christmas :)

Me and my camera December 2013

A couple of months ago I finally got myself a camera. That's a camera for me and not the family to use. I often was out and about and saw something that I thought would make a great image, but would only have my S3 phone with me which doesn't really do it for me, so after some research I finally decided to go for the Sony rx100 mk2, as I wanted really good image quality, and have the option to have speed, exposer, aperture plus more. I didn't want an SLR to carry around, so it had to be a point and shoot.  Anyway now through the month I will be taking images of almost anything and uploading them to that months album and into me G+ stream, and then at the end of the months doing a post here.  So to get started here is Decembers images: All images have been edited on my tablet with either  Photo Mate R2  or  Snapseed .

Starbound Beta Trailer

So finally the day has come (hopefully) that Starbound the game makes its beta release to the public. I have been waiting for well over a year for this. Today they have also release the trailer which shows off well some of the things that are going on in the game, but I would imagine there is so much more to see and find :) And here are a few screen grabs I found online, so looks good.   :)

The Dark Crystal

Loved this film when I was a kid, but always thought there was more to it, or that I was missing something. Anyway it turns out the the version we all got to see was not the one Jim Henson and Frank Oz originally intended. The producers thought it would be confusing and too dark for audiences.  Many thanks to scoodidabop who spent the last two years remastering this cut so that we might see it they way they wanted it to be viewed. This version removed the narrator, inner monologues, and the Skeksis very rarely speak English. There are some restored additional scenes and musical scores that were removed.   Enjoy.     some info/text via: http://geektyrant.com Going to sit one night and watch this :)
